#SuperBowl50 #SanFrancisco Peyton Manning, Von Miller and the Denver Broncos stuffed Cam Cam (Newton) and the Carolina Panthers, 24-10 in perhaps one of the most electric Super Bowls of all-time last night! I think when the media spotted Cam at the airport with the ridiculous zebra pants that may have made him a target and helped the Broncos realize that he is only human; the Broncos sacked Cam in front of their end-zone and ran it in to go ahead 10-0 early in the game! Ironically, Broncos’ outside linebacker Von Miller who made the devastating sack and forced fumble (and later named Super Bowl MVP) was recruited #2 right behind Cam in the same 2011 draft! Cam-a-lam and the Panthers didn’t even get an opportunity to do their new dance move, the ‘dab’ lol, as the Broncos led the entire game! This goes to show that these athletes don’t need this over-the-top antics to be the best, just shut your mouth and prove it on the field, not in the pre-game team pic or en route to the airport especially against the No. 1 defense in the NFL. #StopIt
This story is hitting the delivery late, but still heating up! Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are going to the AFC Championship game to host the New England Patriots! Not only did the Bronco’s advance to the Championship game they will also host the Patriots at their own Mile High Stadium, finishing the season as the #1 contender! Home field advantage can play a major part in playoff games in both terms of momentum and simply hearing play calls. Also, Steelers’ fan and rap mogul Snoop Dogg got trolled by the Broncos?!…
‘Bama Crimson Tides staved off the Clemson Tigers, 45-40 last night, to claim the 2015 BCS National Championship! ‘Bama coach Nick Saban wielded his team into GOLD behind a pooch onside kick late in the game, and switching receiver duties to O.J. Howard, who turnt out 208 yards and two touchdowns at Tight End!
Perhaps the most uplifting story in the NFL came on Sunday afternoon when shoe-in HOF QB Peyton Manning returned to the Denver Broncos! He came into the game in the second half, and helped them preserve their #1 seed throughout the Playoffs instead of dropping to #5 (a wild-card spot) with a nail-biting 27-20 win over the San Diego Chargers! What made it all the more epic was playing in front of the hometown crowd at Sports Authority Field at Mile High #Denver! It turned out that the
This guy joined the wrong sport… IK Enemkpali reportedly tagged or sucker punched teammate and up-and-coming (Roc Nation Sports) NY Jets’ QB Geno Smith, resulting in a crushing double-fracture jaw breaking injury. Enemkpali and Smith were going back and forth over a $600 debt…
NFL QB Tom Brady was recently served a four-game suspension for deflating footballs in a Championship game last December. Now Brady is pushing his appeal through the NFLPA, implying that he had no part in the scandal?! This kind of nonsense makes me hate Brady; for one he just won the chip and two he is directly involved!
This year’s Super Bowl was a tale of glory for Patriot fans, and a straight up heart-breaker for Seahawk fans! The game came down to the last play with the Seahawks (down 28-24) on the 1/2 yard line about to score… when suddenly Seahawks’ QB Russell Wilson throws a trick play pass which was intercepted and effectively ended the game with only 20 seconds left! In many people’s opinion (including mine), Seahawks’ beast-mode RB Marshawn Lynch should have run in the ball for the TD!!! All is all it was a fantastic finish, as Pats’ QB Tom Brady went from sweating profusely in disbelief to jumping off the bench with tears of joy!
In case you missed it, this recent weekend was action packed with NFL madness, as the (Wild-Card) Playoffs filled up the TV time sheet! Tony Romo and the Cowboys thwarted the Lions (on a controversial non-call penalty), Andrew Luck and the Colts ate up the Bengals, Joe Flacco and the Ravens stuffed the Steelers, and Cam Newton and the Panthers ran over the Cardinals! The Panthers amazingly are still standing with a (7-8-1) regular season record! I’m not gonna mess with the statistics and scores, but all the games were neck-and-neck going into halftime!
