The Steel Curtain AKA Steel City X Pittsburgh Steelers Rose Up against Adversity and defeated the admirable Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night!
On some luck… first the Steelers kicker choked and missed the extra point in TD with a minute to go to go up 26-24, then the Ravens marched right back down the field but by some twist of fate the Ravens kicker boofed it. Game Over. The Steelers will host wildcard on MNF against the Houston Texans!
Ironically, Montana State held on to beat Illinois State (heartbreak – pic below) on the BCS State Championship game, Tuesday Jan 5, for the first time since 1984! Illinois State went on a run and came back (to tie) only to miss the extra point, which knifed them in the OT, as Montana State scored a match TD and hit the extra point to win 35-34!
