Kerber would deny Serena of her record-tying 22nd Grand Slam with consistent play, and terrific passing shots! Serena was a little sloppy on serve, and her approach was quickly thwarted by Kerbers’ defense. At the #USOpenFinal, the crowd was a little (a lot) silly cheering when Novak Djokovic missed shots and sometimes yelling stupid phrases when he served.
