SplashBros: Warriors Prepare To Pass MJ ’96 Bulls Season Record For Wins!

Period. The Warriors #SplashBros are the team of the touch foul generation! I definitely wouldn’t put Steph Curry with the likes of MJ lol, but right now he (and the Warriors) absolutely on top of the world #NBA! Tomorrow night…

Peyton Manning Prepares To Announce Retirement!

Peyton Manning announced his intentions to retire, and will make it official at a press conference at 1pm today. There is no better way than to go out a champion (after dramatically winning Super Bowl 50), and he definitely deserves that! Manning was a stand up character, but did have his small share of scandals. Back in his Tennessee days…

#SuperBowl50: Peyton Manning Fulfills His Legacy With Second Championship; Broncos Stuff Cam & The Panthers!

#SuperBowl50 #SanFrancisco Peyton Manning, Von Miller and the Denver Broncos stuffed Cam Cam (Newton) and the Carolina Panthers, 24-10 in perhaps one of the most electric Super Bowls of all-time last night! I think when the media spotted Cam at the airport with the ridiculous zebra pants that may have made him a target and helped the Broncos realize that he is only human; the Broncos sacked Cam in front of their end-zone and ran it in to go ahead 10-0 early in the game! Ironically, Broncos’ outside linebacker Von Miller who made the devastating sack and forced fumble (and later named Super Bowl MVP) was recruited #2 right behind Cam in the same 2011 draft! Cam-a-lam and the Panthers didn’t even get an opportunity to do their new dance move, the ‘dab’ lol, as the Broncos led the entire game! This goes to show that these athletes don’t need this over-the-top antics to be the best, just shut your mouth and prove it on the field, not in the pre-game team pic or en route to the airport especially against the No. 1 defense in the NFL. #StopIt

Kobe Announces Retirement!

On Sunday afternoon, 5-time NBA Champion and 17-time All-Star Kobe Bryant, who broke into the NBA at the tender age of 18, announced that he will retire at the conclusion of this season! Kobe is an international icon known worldwide! He actually grew up in Italy, as his dad (Joe Bryant) played professionally overseas from 1984 to 1992! He will retire being the only player in NBA history to play 20 years for the same franchise, the LA Lakers, and third all-time in scoring!

Coach Pop Notches 1000 (Wins)!

The current NBA Champion Super San Antonio Spurs’ coach Gregg Popovich notched his 1,000th win on Monday night! Marco Belinelli hit the game-winning buzzer beater with 3 seconds left to give the Spurs a dramatic 95-93 win over the Indiana Pacers! Coach Pop became the ninth coach all-time to accomplish the feat (chart below), and the third quickest to get there (behind Phil Jackson and Pat Riley)! Pop took the best players from overseas and groomed them into a Championship team (five championships) year in and year out! Also, he finished with the second highest winning percentage (.684) from the 1,000 and over club only behind Phil Jackson (.704)!

Kobe Passes MJ For All-Time Points! [Video]

Kobe still doin’ it BIG, and now just passed Mr. Basketball, Michael Jordan, for THIRD PLACE on the All-Time Points list!!! It was inevitable, as plastic man Kobe is still averaging 25.4 ppg in his 19th NBA season! He scored his 32,293rd point on a pair of free-throws with 5:24 remaining in the second quarter to put the Lakers ahead 38-32 on Sunday afternoon, and pass his greatness, MJ, who finished his career with 32,292 career points.

MJ Drops In For ‘Jeter Day’

MJ is my book “the sports legend of all-time” came to Monument Park AKA Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Sunday afternoon to hail one of the greatest hitters of all-time… DEREK JETER!!! The Yankees in honor of Jeter spread the #RE2PECT Logo on a flag and painted on the ground, and even put his name on the base plates. The day was so pleasant that even clouds started to come together to form D-E-R-E-K J-E-T-E-R writing in the sky.

Jeter Passes Carl Yastrzemski ‘Yaz’ On All-Time Hits List!

During the NY Yankee’s disappointing 4-2 loss to the Texas Rangers tonight, Yankees’ “da captain” SS Derek Jeter entered the record books yet again! Jeter got three hits to tie and later pass the legendary Carl Yastrzemski AKA ‘Yaz’ for seventh place on the All-Time Hits List!!!

Jeter Seeing Doubles; Breaks All-Time Yankee History!
