The New York Yankees are currently shopping Texas Rangers’ shortstop Elvis Andrus for the x out of Derek Jeter!!! Applause and respect to the captain, as he exits the game, destined for the Hall of Fame!
Andrus hit .263 with a .647 OPS in 2014 and, while he stole 27 bases, his 15 caught stealings led the AL. He was 42 out of 50 in 2013. – nypost
Andrus is currently under an eight-year, $120 Million contract extension that runs through 2022. At 26, he still has plenty of good years ahead of him, and the Rangers could want to a turn a top pitcher. The only concern for the Rangers is infielder Jurickson Profar, who missed all of 2014 with a tear (and re-tear) of the muscle in his shoulder.
