The almost retired Yankees’ captain with legendary stats, Derek Jeter, got an awesome tribute video from none other than LEGO?! This video from LEGO shows the top ten highlights of Jeter’s career! …Its good to see something for the kids, as the baseball card collecting industry has become a dull stock market entertaining adults. I mean realistically, whose parent is going to pay $5.00 a pack and let their 10-year old kid play with the cards?!

MJ Drops In For ‘Jeter Day’

MJ is my book “the sports legend of all-time” came to Monument Park AKA Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Sunday afternoon to hail one of the greatest hitters of all-time… DEREK JETER!!! The Yankees in honor of Jeter spread the #RE2PECT Logo on a flag and painted on the ground, and even put his name on the base plates. The day was so pleasant that even clouds started to come together to form D-E-R-E-K J-E-T-E-R writing in the sky.

Jeter Passes Honus Wagner On All-Time Hits List!

Unfortunately, *coincidence* (Derek) Jeter’s ceremonial hit occured at the same time as former Yankee Paul O’Neill plaque presentation, otherwise it would be obviously more tout. Jeter didn’t even hit it out of the infield (and made it on!) to notch up to 6th place on the All-Time Hits List (chart below) passing legendary (most valuable baseball card ever legendary) Pittsburgh Pirates’ HOF Honus Wagner!
