Tiger Woods makes history! …making one of the most spectacular returns in sports history period dot with the 1st place win, Sunday, in the cherished Masters, the Major of Major tournaments in PGA Golf!
#SuperBowl50 #SanFrancisco Peyton Manning, Von Miller and the Denver Broncos stuffed Cam Cam (Newton) and the Carolina Panthers, 24-10 in perhaps one of the most electric Super Bowls of all-time last night! I think when the media spotted Cam at the airport with the ridiculous zebra pants that may have made him a target and helped the Broncos realize that he is only human; the Broncos sacked Cam in front of their end-zone and ran it in to go ahead 10-0 early in the game! Ironically, Broncos’ outside linebacker Von Miller who made the devastating sack and forced fumble (and later named Super Bowl MVP) was recruited #2 right behind Cam in the same 2011 draft! Cam-a-lam and the Panthers didn’t even get an opportunity to do their new dance move, the ‘dab’ lol, as the Broncos led the entire game! This goes to show that these athletes don’t need this over-the-top antics to be the best, just shut your mouth and prove it on the field, not in the pre-game team pic or en route to the airport especially against the No. 1 defense in the NFL. #StopIt
Perhaps the most uplifting story in the NFL came on Sunday afternoon when shoe-in HOF QB Peyton Manning returned to the Denver Broncos! He came into the game in the second half, and helped them preserve their #1 seed throughout the Playoffs instead of dropping to #5 (a wild-card spot) with a nail-biting 27-20 win over the San Diego Chargers! What made it all the more epic was playing in front of the hometown crowd at Sports Authority Field at Mile High #Denver! It turned out that the
The NY Yankees paid tribute to Yogi Berra, who passed away on Sept. 22 at 90 years old, coincidentally exactly 69 years from his MLB debut. He lived beyond his years, and played beyond his peers; accomplishing 18 All-Star appearances, 15 consecutively. He was also an astounding 10-time World Series Champion with the NY Yankees, and even played and coached briefly crosstown for the NY Mets later in his career…
NFL NY Giants’ JPP (Jason Pierre-Paul) is in dire straits (with respect to a new contract and lifestyle in general) after getting an amputated right index finger from a fireworks mistake! As the story first broke (after July 4th) it seemed a insignificant incident, but after pictures were leaked, and the finger had to be amputated the situation was upgraded to serious!
The rough rugged rugby Cleveland Cavaliers behind soft-spoken Lebron James, were knocked off by the Golden State Warriors AKA Splash Bros. 105-97 tonight for the NBA Championship! The Warriors have claimed the heralded golden nugget for the first time in forty years! Lebron James played insane on forty shots a game, but it wasn’t enuff! Delly where you at? LMAO! The Warriors won four games out of what ended up a six game series!
